The Club Fair, Gym, Friday Afternoon

Though he'd heard about something like it being in the works, the club fair wasn't what Simon had been looking for.

Regardless, it was what he found, just as it was being set up. He almost left straight away, to avoid being in anyone's way, but then his curiosity won out. So, he decided to stay and take a look at the club schedule.

Couldn't hurt, could it?

"Apparently this is a regular thing," Warren sighed, shrugging. "Plenty of girls have tried it, pretty much every semester, but only one has ever really gotten in."

The yearbooks were very interesting sources of information on how the KKG was run.

"Presumably because she was really some sort of eldritch god trapped in a female body, gender didn't quite apply."

Confirmation of being a guy? Totally all that Warren wanted.

"Yeah, sure," Warren replied with a little smile. "Last semester's meetings were mostly just sitting around and eating pizza and throwing together a calendar and stuff, anyhow. To raise funds for a... spaceship, or something. I'm not entirely certain just what the old management was thinking at the time."

Though a spaceship would be kind of awesome.

"...we're building a spaceship?!" Freddie said, way too excited. "Oh man, this is gonna be the best club ever."

"We... could?" Come to think of it, Warren was pretty sure that most of the guys who had signed up so far, and Tony, would probably be up for something like that. "And if not, we could always rent a jet or something to get as close to space as we can."

He didn't want to flat-out say no. Freddie was the first guy who had stopped at the booth to talk to him, and he looked way too excited to say no to.

"Well, I'm all for that," Freddie said. "I think I'd like that better than, you know, toga parties and stuff. Though I guess those could be fun, too."

He had no real idea about fraternities, poor Freddie.

"I tend to steer clear of toga parties anyhow," Warren replied with a chuckle. "I don't have a harp to round out the ensemble, so the usual clothing is generally good enough."

Not that he couldn't afford a harp, granted.

Freddie chuckled and nodded. "Sounds like this'll be fun," Freddie said. "I think I'll sign up."

All he'd need would be a halo, and then he'd be all set for Halloween!
