The Club Fair, Gym, Friday Afternoon

Though he'd heard about something like it being in the works, the club fair wasn't what Simon had been looking for.

Regardless, it was what he found, just as it was being set up. He almost left straight away, to avoid being in anyone's way, but then his curiosity won out. So, he decided to stay and take a look at the club schedule.

Couldn't hurt, could it?

Okay, so cheerleading hadn't been a huge whopping success for Miley the first time, no.

"Hi," Miley said, sticking out a hand for Chloe to shake. "I'm Miley. Are you guys having tryouts?"

"So, like, last time I did the whole cheerleading thing, I tried out with my best friend, and she decided it was time to unleash, like, crazy skateboarding skills, so even though I'm like the best dancer EVER she stole my slot and I ended up in this smelly mask, so -- can you promise I won't get stuck riding a tricycle up and down the gym and getting old gum in my hair?"

Chloe blinked and blinked again.

"Masks? Tricycles?" She shook her head slowly. "I can promise that you won't end up doing anything like that here."

She flashed Chloe a smile, whipped out a purple gel pen, and asked brightly, "Where do I sign up?"
