Don't Be Evil [Friday, Second Period]

Once again class was in an ordinary classroom. Unlike last week, Oz held out a lucky dip as the students entered. Those with sharp eyes may have noticed he had large squares of hair missing from his lower arms.

"Good morning, kids, good to see you all back here again," he greeted once the class had finished arriving. "Now last week you all gave an example of choosing not being evil, but what happens when you stop that? When you start that slow descent into villainy? What are the tiny little warning signs that you or someone close to you may be sliding towards evil? Well, here are some of them."

And wouldn't you know it, he had a power-point display ready.

After the slide-show finished, Oz turned back the class. "Now, not all of those in and of themselves can be taken as out and out proof of evil, after all, some of these apply to emos and goths, who are at worst merely annoying. They're also not the only ones, so I want you to find a partner or two and discuss both these potential warning signs of evil, and any others you can come up with."

"Also the position of TA is still open, anyone who applies gets something else from the pick-me-up box."

Sam was looking between his candy and the display on the board. Some of those signs of evil made him chuckle but he kept those quiet and mostly to himself.

He didn't see a lot of those in himself, at least. The whole 'stalking' thing was laughable. Watching someone sleep was boring.

CANDY.

Sorry, Topher was busy eating his chocolate pops in a crazed frenzy and making a complete mess of his sweater vest in the process. He missed Mountain Dew so, so much.

No coffee on the island? Not a disaster. Warren had chocolate-covered espresso beans.

Only, when he put one into his mouth and chewed, he realized to his horror that the chocolate shells were hollow.

Well-played, Fandom. Well-played.

Butters actually wasn't eating his candy. Call him paranoid, but he had a feeling free candy in a class about not being evil might be a little...tainted.

He was a little torn on the presentation, too. On the one hand, he wasn't all that evil at all. But, on the other hand, based on the criteria, Professor Chaos had a lot of work to do...but all the laughing stuff was pretty perfect.

Peter chewed idly on his candy as he observed the board with absolutely zero interest.

What he was doing was for the greater good.

And he was going to show them all. But ha. Who had just saved the world this week? Oh yeah. Him. So not evil.

Yes, you could pretty much smell the smug self-satisfaction from all the way at the back of the class.

"Signs of lame evil," Sam muttered. Ah well. At least she totally got gum out of it.

Nico had a momentary issue where he looked from the slide about black clothes down to his own all-black wardrobe.

He was not a goth, but could he be evil?
