Still wearing his sombrero, Dream has thrown open the doors to study hall and dropped himself at the table up front.

He seems to be scrutinizing the students who walk in, especially the boys, especially the taller boys.

Small bowls of candy are scattered throughout the room.

*Del pokes distractedly at a bowl of candy. The butterfly wrapped ones begin to flutter, and a chocolate bar tries to scurry away on hundreds of tiny pink legs*

*Del grabs a handful and shoves them into her mouth, then wanders away. The remaining candy twitches, newly crinkled wrapper reflecting light nervously*

Arriving with books beneath her arm, a wooden box in one hand and a distracted look in her eye, Wednesday paused to look at the candy. After a moment, she put down the box and picked up four of the candies, tucking them neatly into a pocket.

Finding a quiet seat near the back, she placed the box upon her desk and began studying.
