Study Hall, Monday, Oct. 31

Still wearing his sombrero, Dream has thrown open the doors to study hall and dropped himself at the table up front.

He seems to be scrutinizing the students who walk in, especially the boys, especially the taller boys.

Small bowls of candy are scattered throughout the room.

Rogue smiles a little. "Surprisingly well. Except for the creepy eyes eatin' popcorn and watchin' us outside the Halloween party.

"Your sister drive you crazy?"

"Creepy eyes eat popcorn?" She frowns.

"Yeah, she drove me completely nuts. She had to stay in the dorms, couldn't smoke, thought I was a delinquent and was genuinely surprised I knew anyone's name. So it went better than I thought."

"Yeah, that was my question, but they apparently do."

Rogue laughs just a little, "That sounds like an awful time. Has she always thought you were a delinquent?"

Jaye nods. And continues nodding. "Well, I was involved in a purse incident and there was attacking and badness, so maybe it's a little true, but there were good reasons for that," she says defensively. "But now she thinks all of you are delinquents, too. I think she thinks I'm at a school for the criminally insane."

"I'm sure there were very good reasons," Rogue nods, agreeing.

She smirks. "Well, we are all kind of delinquent in some way. And insane definitely fits this place. So maybe your sister wasn't all wrong."

Jaye shrugs. "You might a point," she says. "So any big Halloween plans?"

Rogue sighs. "Not really. If there's something goin' on, I might show up, but I don't have anything specific planned. What about you?"

"I don't know. There should be something. Maybe that movie night thing in the dorms. Or maybe I'll just go trick or treating and freak out the townies."

"All those movies looked kind of lame. But maybe the older ones would be fun."

"They have possibility. And there are enough people around who probably never had a clue these movies existed, so there might be an actual freakout for them," Jaye says. "I might have to start worrying that I find other people as entertainment."
