Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

Today the class was once again in the Danger Room but upon entering the students would see that it was just a normal classroom.

"Hey guys," Columbus said leaning up against his desk and holding up a bunch of test pamphlets. "Take a seat. This is your final exam. If you need a number 2 pencil, I brought extras."

Essay Question:

What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen African swallow?

Oh, wait. You don't get to answer that question. Because a horde of zombies just burst through the door looking for tasty human flesh.

Did you really think there wouldn't be a practical part of the exam?

Feel free to fight off the zombies with improvised items from the classroom.

Or the automatic pistols taped underneath the desks. If you notice them.

Well, Dave would probably just go with A. But if he had a gun and - when faced with a zombie - remembered this class, the answer was obvious.

D. Both A and C.

Specifically C, then A.

The hubcaps were almost useless, except briefly as a shield, maybe. Also, there might be tiny zombies hidden behind them. No, no, the clear choices were A and B. And you couldn't get to B without A, therefore....

A. Check the back seat before entering.

With my limited skill set of running away and hiding, the line is way at the beginning. Frankly, I'll be the one in need of saving.

Honestly, Dave expected the whole test to be nothing but this. That's why he stretched before class. And that's why he was ready to run away the second they appeared.

Sam had to get himself in the mindset of this class and out of the mindset of using necromancy. So, he chose D, both A and C. It seemed to be the way to make sure he stayed alive.

What would anyone need hubcaps for? Sam shook his head and chose A easily.

This was a tough one for Sam to answer considering everything he'd been through with his friends. Eventually, he wrote an essay stating that if there was absolutely no hope for his friends, if saving them would doom himself, that would be the line for him. But, if he had a chance to save them, he'd do it because being alone really was an awful thing.

Yeah, Sam hadn't expected the paper test to be it. When the zombies came oozing through that door, he jumped out of his seat and backed up, deciding he was gonna use the chair to defend himself.

When he kicked over his desk to use as a shield, he spotted the gun and decided that would be much better than the damn chair. He grabbed it and got to shooting.

Who needed pencils when you had claws? Surreal was very careful to puncture 'D' and not the rest of the paper.

Re: Question #2

[identity profile] harpy-daughter.livejournal.com 2011-08-17 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Surreal was going to go with 'D', since she wasn't a very good driver. At least she could use them as a shield or throw them.

Re: Question #3

[identity profile] harpy-daughter.livejournal.com 2011-08-17 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Surreal did her best to claw a fine line on the paper, and put a cluster of dots on one side to be 'others.' The solitary dot on the other side? Her.

Hopefully Columbus would get interpretive cat.

Surreal was off like a shot, weaving through the classroom to take cover.

Look, the zombies wanted human flesh. The cat was staying faaaaaar away from this.

Annie chose D.

It was killing her not to explain her answer. Could she write on the back of the test?

Re: Question #2

[identity profile] annieadderall.livejournal.com 2011-08-18 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
A. Definitely A.

It was also killing her not to also choose B.

Re: Question #3

[identity profile] annieadderall.livejournal.com 2011-08-18 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
Annie thought about this for a moment, then wrote a long, wordy answer stating that she'd help anyone she could (especially if they had useful skills) but if it would put herself at risk, then that was where she had to stop.

She probably could have just said that, but no one got A's for short answers.
