Fandom High Auditorium, Thursday Afternoon

As whatever was happening on the island became less and less likely to be cleared up with a good old fashioned fight, it seemed it was time to figure out just what to do next. So, a radio announcement let people know to meet up at the school to pool their resources and go over what they knew so far.

Even if some of the people who were supposed to be in charge weren’t looking quite so well anymore...

Gray wasn’t the most charming color when it came to human skin tone.

Whatever was going on out there was affecting Tony, too, and Stephanie wasn't exactly thrilled about that; if nothing else, she could pass off her presence at this meeting as a way to find out more about the situation for personal reasons.

She didn't have to fake her look of concern, though, or the slightly green tinge to her skin (god, she hoped that was just figurative); wow, the school administration did not look their best.

"Anything good so far?" Tony asked, looking up at the stage rather than at Stephanie. Because that would help everyone ignore all that freaky skin he was sporting.

"That the rock is probably alien," Stephanie replied, sounding a little strained because yes, his skin was freaky looking.

Worried-strained, not grossed-out-strained.

". . . are you feeling any worse?"

"It's hard to focus," he admitted after a moment.

Stephanie looked horrified for a second, but shook it off and gritted her teeth, reaching up to put a hand on his back. "But there were a bunch of you guys working on this thing. There's bound to be some information we can go off of, and find out some more answers," she insisted. "And that's what we're going to do."

Tony started for a moment, shaking his head slightly. No need to push the--whatever it was--onto her. "I'll see if I can figure out anything in the lab."
