Library, Wednesday (8/3)

It was pretty evident by now that something was going on, and Gabrielle, being Gabrielle, was concerned. Part of her wanted to go out and ask questions, or poke around and try to figure things out, but as these things went in Fandom people tended to turn to the books for more information. She ended up (with some reluctance, it had to be said) deciding that in this case, sticking to her library-aide duties was the better part of valor.

If she wasn't at the collections desk at any given point, she was off in the stacks, making sure everything was in place . . . and doing her best to sweet-talk the library into not spontaneously rearranging itself at any point, because didn't it want to be helpful? Didn't it want the chance to maybe turn out a hero again, because if it came to that she'd make sure it got its fair share of credit?

Uh huh. Thought so.

It was, in its own way, a satisfying enough heroic pursuit. At least Gabrielle was spinning it to herself that way.

Belle was exhausted. She'd been poring over books, trying to see if there was anything she could find. Something had been tingling at the back of her mind, and despite her better judgement, she'd sent a letter home to Adam last night, asking how quickly his transformation had taken place. Talk of scales weren't exactly comforting.

Bo? Looking up killer deer, living rocks, and shit, my hands are turning gray.

The book on hand-throwing pottery was not quite what she was aiming for on that last one, library.
