[OOC: Just in case any other family members want to talk to Tick. And to possibly receive a delivery. And to explain where he is all afternoon until the Costume Contest.]

The Tick is in his classroom again and the door is open. He is wet, has some duck feathers on him, is fiddling with electronic bits and PEZ dispensers, and is once more wearing his tie.

He'd like to talk to anyone who stops by.

On their way to the ethics classroom, Keith and Veronica walk by the Tick's room. When Keith sees the sign that says Criminal Justice, he turns to Veronica. "Why aren't you in the Criminal Justice class, Veronica?"

Tick sees the Marses by the door and waves to them. "Hello, student and parent! How are you this afternoon?"

Without waiting for Veronica to answer, Keith walks in and introduces himself to the... big blue man with antennae coming out of his head. "Hi, I'm Keith Mars, and this is my daughter, Veronica. I was just asking her why she isn't signed up for criminal justice this term. You see, I'm a Private Investigator, and she's always shown interest and initiative in assisting me with my work whenever she could."

Veronica smiles.

"And I was just about to explain to my dad that I didn't have room for Criminal Justice in my schedule this semester, but am hoping to sign up for it next term," she says.

"Well, I'll be glad to have you in class next semester! You work on the paper, don't you? It's the next best thing to sleuthing around here, I'm sure!"

Veronica's grin is genuine as she responds. "Yes I do work on the paper and you're right about it being close to sleuthing."

"Hello, Mr. Mars! I'm Professor Tick! A P.I.? Really? That's so keen!"

"I do enjoy my line of work," Keith says. "If you don't mind my asking, Professor, what is your background with Criminal Justice?"

"I'm a superhero. Back home I seek out Evil where ever it Resides, only to stick an Eviction Notice to its door and say, 'Hey, Evil! Get out of my City!' It gives me a unique perspective on Justice, I think."

"A superhero?" Keith laughs, turning to his daughter. "Finally a professor with a sense of humor - I think you're going to like this class next term, Veronica." Turning back to the Tick, he says, "It was nice meeting you professor, but we need to get to the Ethics room. Oh, and I like your Halloween costume." He turns to Veronica to leave.

Huh. That's the second time someone thought his tie was a costume. That's strange. "Enjoy the rest of your stay, Mr. Mars!"

"Thank you, Professor - you have a nice day too." Keith smiles, and he and Veronica walk back out to the hallway.
