Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse - Wednesday
"Hey, everyone," Columbus said in greeting as class filed in. "Sounds like something stranger than usual is happening in town this week, so I'm going to start off class with a reminder of the most important rule of survival. Cardio. If you find yourself in a strange situation and could be hurt, run. Do not pass go. Do not collect two hundred dollars. Yes, I realize that there is a time for everyone to be a hero. However there are also times when your life is more important than saving the day."
Columbus leaned back against his desk and pointed at the class. "So I'm going to skip the usual being chased or killing zombies class exercise and I want you all to write an essay on how you will react and qualify a life and death situation. Will you run to fight another day or fight the good fight? Why? What factors would make the decision go in one direction instead of another. When you're done hand it in."
He paused for a moment before adding:
"And hey, let's be careful out there."
Okay, Columbus was a fan of Hill Street Blues. Don't judge.

Re: Essay!
His essay very much reflected that. He wasn't afraid to talk about his failings at beating up monsters.
