Padme's Special One Time Weekend Hours

Padme thought it a good idea to hold some weekend hours for the purpose of meeting any parents who might wantto talk to her. She wouldn't seek anyone out on purpose, but there were certain parents she really hoped would talk to her. Others she wanted to avoid completely

Sir Myles walked into the room, reading something off of a card. "Miss? My name is Myles, I am Alan-Alanna's," He corrected himself. "Gaurdian. She informed me that she takes classes with you."

Padme sat up and smiled. "Yes, that's correct. She's been an excellent student so far."

Sir Myles nodded. "Is there anything that I should be aware about in her studies?"

Padme thought. "Nothing springs to mind, really. She's been one of my better pupils. She has her act together, she shows up on time, completes her assignments above the standard. Really, I wish I had more with her approach to her subjects."

Obi-Wan pokes his head into the room, knocking on the door as he enters.

"Senator? Are you busy?"

Anakin hovered like a shadow behind him.

A slightly twitchy shadow.

Padme wondered why he smelt like pond goop.

Anakin had no idea what she could possibly be referring to.

He showered many, many times in Obi-Wan's hotel room.

Padme, discreetly, stood a little closer to her Glade Puff Thing.

Padme swallowed down her Pepsi she was drinking the hard way, and just about choked.

"No, of course not."

She put on her best smile.

"I always have time for you."

"It's good to see you again, Senator. I trust you've been well."

He smiled warmly at the young woman.

"Just thought I'd stop by, see how you were faring with our favorite pupil."

She smiled. "It hasn't been the easiest place to get by in... I'm still getting accustomed to the... simpler technology. I think your apprentice has had a better hand at that than I have.'

"As for Anakin, he's been a wonderful pupil and shows quite a bit of interest in the school. If he hasn't told you about the attack on the school the other month... well. He defended the grounds well."

She left out the part about him being pyschotic at the time.

Lex walks into the classroom and takes his sunglasses off, "Ms. Amidala?" Lex asks, reading the name off the paper in his hands and smiling at her.

Padme, still slightly flushed from her last ~~unwanted~~ meeting, looked up with a quick smile. working in goverment had taught her how to change expressions quicker than blinking.

"Yes?"

"Hello Ms. Amidala, My name is Lex Luthor," and here he reaches out his hand for hers, "I'm here as Lana Lang's guardian but while here, I thought I might check up on another friend near and dear to my heart, Chloe Sullivan?" Lex smiles and leans against the nearest desk, "I'm told she's taking your class and I just wanted to make sure she was doing well."

Padme shook his hand firmly. For a moment, she was vaguely reminded of the chancellor.

"She's one of my better students. She's on time, completely her work with efforts well above the standard. Nothing but a pleasure so far."

"I'm very happy to hear that, she's shown so much promise since I've known her and I wanted to be certain she was continuing to excel. Sometimes, especially for teen-agers, moving schools like this can be a problem. I'm glad she's doing well. She's social right? No problems there?"

Padme was pleased to hear someone care so much for all the aspects that went into school, not just the acedemics.

"As far as I know. She seems to get along with her classmates in my classes, as best I can tell."
