Try Not to Die!! [Tuesday, May 31]

Anakin realized that he was teaching a class called "Try Not to Die" but this morning he wasn't feeling either the exclamation points or the need to put the students into even slightly dangerous situations.

Blame three days of watching the Hunger Games for that. He sent out handwavy messages for the students to meet him at the Danger Shop instead of on the causeway, and the environment that greeted the students was decidedly...chocolatey. The sun was shining brightly overhead, complete with the sorts of fluffy clouds you only found in movies or children's drawings.

"Welcome to my version of a land made of candy," he said. "Try not to get to distracted by how everything is edible--you still have several tasks to complete." With that, he gestured toward the clue box and stepped out of the way.

Worry that Karla would run herself out was up there on the list of things that had been gnawing at Warren, yes. He winced, and then tried a shaky smile on for size.

"I won't," he replied, with a tiny nod. "I'll... get some of those things before I run myself down."

Food, first, that wasn't chocolate. Probably.

"Thank you." Warren nodded again, sighed, and looked up again. "I'll definitely try."

He was really going to need somebody to talk to, sooner or later.
