Try Not to Die!! [Tuesday, May 31]

Anakin realized that he was teaching a class called "Try Not to Die" but this morning he wasn't feeling either the exclamation points or the need to put the students into even slightly dangerous situations.

Blame three days of watching the Hunger Games for that. He sent out handwavy messages for the students to meet him at the Danger Shop instead of on the causeway, and the environment that greeted the students was decidedly...chocolatey. The sun was shining brightly overhead, complete with the sorts of fluffy clouds you only found in movies or children's drawings.

"Welcome to my version of a land made of candy," he said. "Try not to get to distracted by how everything is edible--you still have several tasks to complete." With that, he gestured toward the clue box and stepped out of the way.

"Were the chocolates good?" he asked.

"There were so many different kinds!" Cassidy said, bouncing on her feet a little. "I've never thought of mixing chocolate with some of those things... and the others listed I had never even heard of."

"People have moved a little past mint and nuts," he observed with a smile.

"They tasted good," she said with a smile. "It makes me want to know what some of those other things were."

She grinned. "And then the animals! I had a hard time just picking five."

"Sometimes the tasks aren't just fiendishly difficult," Anakin said, "They're also cute."
