Lifestyle course: Essay for next week

Oh, look, sorry this is a bit late, I've been sort of busy with something else.

There are croaks from behind him. Yes, I know. I'll be back in a moment.

This week's essay -- next week's topic -- is Love. Not sex, we did that a couple of weeks ago. Love.

I know it's parent's weekend, and that a lot of you are entertaining visitors over the next couple of days. If you can bring them to my room [[when I post about it]] tomorrow or on Sunday, and demonstrate that you understand the topic, then that'll be fine in lieu of an essay. But if your family aren't in town, then I'll need an essay from you sometime before the end of the weekend.

More croaks. Okay, I'm coming.

Love. By the end of the weekend. An essay ... or a practical. Make it good.

Love is the strongest possible bond between two people. It involves trust, self-lessness, and the ability to compromise. Love is the thing that most people spend their whole lives searching for. It comes in many forms - family, friends, romantic love, but without one or more of these kinds, people feel lost and worthless. It is also difficult at times to know whether you truly love someone, or whether the hormones of your body are fooling you.

Love... not in high school. We're too young to be getting that serious about anyone. That's how mistakes get made. I never knew my dad 'cause things didn't work out between him and my mom. You gotta be absolutely sure you're doing the right thing. Now family love is an important support system, and you got to stick together with the people you love.

Love is one of the strongest things in the world. Some people think that you don't need it but you do. Without love you are truly dead and lost to the world. When you love someone you trust them completely and can always count on them to be there for you and they can expect the same from you. You don't hurt the people you love and if someone else hurts them you comfort them. Some people think it's hard to know when you're in love but I think if you truly are then you'll know it.
