Summer Fitness and Survival, Monday, Period Four

Bond had informed his students that today's class would be held in the Danger Shop, where he waited outside to greet them.

"Improvisation," he began. "Improvisation, puzzle-solving, and lateral thinking are three skills that are vital to your continued survival in any given situation. Which is why we'll be working through a series of scenarios today focused on just that. Just remember, if you can't think of something, try everything."

With that he motioned for them to precede him into the Danger Shop. Which should really have been their first warning, given that once the last student entered the door swung shut behind them, leaving Bond on the other side.

Escaping from rooms by going through all the random items and bits of information scattered about was something Alexander was pretty good at; it was actually the whole reason he was even alive, and so he had a fairly easy time out of finding the blueprint and, from there, constructing what he needed to use to get himself out. He let out a breath of relief. Even with the knowledge that a wizard wasn't going to show up and kill you at any moment, it was still a little nervewracking.
