Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

The weather was nice, the school wasn't currently under attack from forces not of this universe and they were still in Iceland. Oh yeah, it was day one of the rest of the newbies' lives.

Welcome to fandom, kiddos. Try not to trip over left over sombreros from Thursday!

[Please wait for OCD is up! This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here and here, in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible.]

"But I don't know the first thing about being a boy," Angelica said. "Is there any way to make sure that kind of thing won't happen?"

The denial was strong in this one.

Stephanie tapped a finger against her lips. "If I hear of anything, I'll let you know. It's okay. The first time it rains something sugary and sticky, or random tiny animals start appearing everywhere, it'll help ease you right in."

"I'm not sure Ms. Frost knew about all this when she sent me here," Angelica said uneasily. She would have mentioned it, wouldn't she? Maybe if she told her she'd let her come back to the Academy sooner.

"Maaaaaaaaaaaaybe," Stephanie allowed. "But I'm pretty sure the people who sent me here knew exactly what they were getting me into, and wanted me to figure it out on my own. So who knows?"

"Ms. Frost is really protective of me, though," Angelica said. Well, she was more protective of the people she was worried Angelica might hurt with her powers, and rightfully so.
