The weather was nice, the school wasn't currently under attack from forces not of this universe and they were still in Iceland. Oh yeah, it was day one of the rest of the newbies' lives.

"No, it looked like Maryland last time." Anders squinted out past the gates and out to the town across the causeway whose name he was about 80% sure he couldn't spell even if he knew it. "Look at it this way. Coming back sure as hell hasn't been boring."
