The weather was nice, the school wasn't currently under attack from forces not of this universe and they were still in Iceland. Oh yeah, it was day one of the rest of the newbies' lives.

"I can deal with not so neat," Billy said, looking a little relieved at not having to immediately go and talk to someone in charge. He was hoping to avoid talking to the administration for as long as possible, thanks. "After talking to my big sibling, I feel like I should ask where and when you're from."

"New York, also 21st century," Billy said, looking even more relieved now. "Okay, this is good. Maybe we won't weird each other out too much then." Unless he had to use his powers in front of her, but that was what costumes were for.
