Fighting With Powers [Monday, Fourth Period]

"I had a review planned for today, but I think we've actually got a better topic for discussion: this weekend."

Max slipped his sunglasses off and dropped them on his desk. "Did anything you learned in this class come into play? And if so, elaborate. Was it something you hadn't expected to be useful? You're smart. You know the kind of stuff I'm looking for."

"You're also free to ask questions since next week you're having your exam."

She wasn't sure it was what he meant, but Momoko had used her learned skills! "I'm not as dependent on my normal weapons and powers? I couldn't use my yo-yo. I kept getting sent back to the dorms when I did." Momoko was probably the only person in the world who now liked green mushrooms. "But I was able to use my flying and a slingshot instead!"

And a teacher. That had been awesome!

"I used some of my magic to help protect the dorms," Alex said, recalling her time helping Chuck outside the dorms. Hey, hitting a spiked creature with lightning was kind of fun!
