Journalism Class - Friday October 28

Journalism Class today has been cancelled, as mentioned yesterday, but there is a glowing message on the main news screen anyway.

Open Classrooms this weekend. I expect to review the footage when I get back and see that the various class campaigns have been set up in this classroom for the review of the parents. For those of you who normally receive credit for Friday's Class, please sign in below.

Again, no homework this week, but not having your materials displayed for the Open Classrooms will effect your midterm grade.

OOC: I do expect an entry in the dorms with links to everyone's work to be put up tomorrow - hence yesterday's announcement in class.

Jake smiled a little. "I'm that obvious?" He shook his head. "Yeah, no, I know. I'm not about to scratch your eyes out." He grinned, waving his free hand in front of her face. "See? No claws. I just wanted to talk to you. 'cause Krycek likes you."

"I'm a bright girl. I can put two and two together." D smiled warmly and winked. When he waved his hand in her face, she blinked a little. Then she grinned mischievously, "Oh, so I'm not worth talking to otherwise, eh?" She teased.

"Eh." Jake waggled his hand. "You know. You're all blond and things. I have firm beliefs in stereotypes." He grinned. "Nah, you're cool. You take pictures and everything."

"Glad to know I pass." D's grin hadn't faded but some of the mischief had ebbed away. She might not like (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/209012.html?thread=9820020#t9820020) everything (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/209012.html?thread=9929588#t9929588) she knew (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/215606.html?thread=10081846#t10081846) about (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/215606.html?thread=10028854#t10028854) the boy in front of her (which she would admit was pretty little) but Krycek seemed to so she was willing to give him a chance.

D'anna yawned and stretched. She'd just sat through two hours of some goofball movie (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/285777.html) in speech and she still didn't feel fully awake. "I knew I should have had a coffee this morning."

Jake studied her for a moment, then held out his mug towards her. "Want some? I can guarantee you that I don't have any diseases," he added wryly.

She considered it for just a moment, but she was weak and Jake seemed ok. "Just a sip, if you don't mind." She took the offered mug, "but if I turn in to a bunny, you have to get your own photos for the rest of the year."

[identity profile] courier-gavin.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 10:12 am (UTC)(link)
"Hee. Bunny. ...No, you won't turn into one by drinking my coffee. But Logan was one last weekend. That was fun." Jake grinned. "I swear he was the most bad-tempered bunny in the world."

[identity profile] dbiers.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
D'anna took a sip of Jake's coffee and was glad for the water bottle in her rucksack. It was, in a word, sweet. "Thanks. Yeah, I saw." she passed the mug back to him. She wrinkled her nose at the thought of Logan-the-bunny-that-was, "Saw more of him than I ever wanted to in fact."

[identity profile] courier-gavin.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
"...Are you saying what I think you're saying?" Jake's eyebrows rose as he took the mug back automatically. "Were you there when he changed back?"

[identity profile] dbiers.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
"Our entire team was there, plus Rory, Parker and Angelus," D'anna nodded and from her expression, it was clear that she would have rather been anywhere else when it had happened.

[identity profile] courier-gavin.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ahh. Oh, was that when that thing with Parker happened?"

[identity profile] dbiers.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
"At the photo shoot on Sunday, yeah. Poor Parker..." D'anna took a deep breath and wrapped her arms around herself. "So how's your project going?"

[identity profile] courier-gavin.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
"Don't really know." Jake wrinkled his nose, leaving the topic of Parker. He wasn't really comfortable about talking about that kind of things anyway. It was so far away from his own scope of experiences. "Me and Chihaya's done a lot of the stuff and Oz and Connor's baked muffins and played and stuff, but we haven't really got much of a reaction from anyone."

[identity profile] dbiers.livejournal.com 2005-10-29 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
"Neither have we. I don't know if it's place or if all students are just this apathetic everywhere." D'anna shrugged, "I think we might hear something later today, Xander got us some cool candies, but I dunno."
