Adventures, Capers and Escapes - Danger Shop, Thursday Period 3

The Doctor opened the Danger Shop doors right on time for class to start. He looked alarmed to see them all there and then looked at the device on his arm that appeared to be some sort of leather bracelet with a doohickey on it. "She's definitely been tinkering with this. You!" he said to them, snapping back to the present. "All of you. Hello. Is it class time? Perfect. I need your help. I don't know why, but at some time in my own personal future, I'm going to program the Danger Shop to be an amusement park filled with zombie clowns that can only be incapacitated by cream pies. For reasons also unknown, but I can't wait to find out, the program is locked down so it won't end until all of the zombie clowns are cream pied into oblivion. That's where you come in. Can you cream pie the zombie clowns for me? To cut a long, complicated and very interesting story short, I have to go in search of a message I left myself in here and then go and save the universe from complete and total annihilation. It's about as interesting as it sounds. Off we go!"

He turned and ran into the amusement park, trying to dodge the zombie clowns that wanted to harass him. There were cream pie stations throughout the park. It was night time, of course, but the lights were all on and the rides were ready to go if you really wanted to ride one or use them as part of your zombie pieing plans.

It was hard to make a girl feel nostalgic for banelings, yet somehow the fact they were supposed to defeat the clowns with pies had that effect.

Oh yeah, she was so not sticking around for this. There were pies ready to be thrown and a tiny blond Necromancer ready to get as high up into trees as she could.

...

Well, the pie-flinging was therapeutic at least?

Claudia was half-tempted to try and see if any of the zombie clowns were actually the aged theme park owner wearing a mask.

Yeah, she watched a lot of old tv shows, growing up.

"Why are the pies a weapon?" Elphaba questioned, as if she'd get an answer. "Isn't this a waste of pie?"

"Maybe they're full of ZOMBIE POISON," Hank suggested. That didn't stop him from munching on one, though.

"...if it's full of poison, why are you eating it?" Elphaba promptly asked.

Hank thought about that. "Zombie poison tastes good!" he decided.

Elphaba opened and shut her mouth once.

"...I do hope you don't fall ill," she said, earnestly.

And now she was going to hurry along to avoid the zombies.

Roy's stellar aim made him surprisingly well-suited for this task, even if dodging the zombie clowns in between throwing things at them was kind of annoying. They were gross; he didn't want to have to touch them.
