Yeah, Effy was great at not talking. A good few years of her life had been spent in silence. She could probably offer George some tips.

Maybe if she wasn't busy shredding a magazine she'd got her hands on into tiny pieces.

She was keeping certain words and phrases carefully aside. It... might be better not to ask.
