Elizabeth knocked on the door.

"Elizabeth!" Tara looks almost embarrassingly relieved to see her. "Come in, please. CJ told me how upset you were - I want to apologise."

Elizabeth bit her lip as she entered the room. "You weren't to know, Professor. It's not exactly something I've shouted from the dorm roof, you know?"

Tara shakes her head. "It doesn't matter. I hurt you. I didn't mean to, but it happened, and I'm very sorry." She bites her lip, unconsciously mirroring Elizabeth's expression. "Elizabeth... if you're upset, you need to tell me, okay? I'm used to debate and discussion in class, and sometimes I'm not good on picking up on when people are genuinely upset and when they're just hashing it out. I really don't want anything like this to happen again."

"It won't be a problem in the future, Professor," Elizabeth replies, handing across the forms she got from the Dean. "With all due respect to you, I'm going to be dropping the class."

Tara accepts the forms, nodding sadly. "Alright, Elizabeth. Thank you for letting me know."

Elizabeth gives her a small smile. "Good luck with the class, ma'am."
