The Danger Shop looked like a museum today. Thankfully, there were no dinosaurs in sight, not even herbivores. "Excellent work on not getting yourself eaten last week. Bonus points to those of you who have violent tendencies for not killing anything. That is, as always, most appreciated. Now!" He pointed at the centrepiece of the room. "That is the Third Diamond of the Tsar of Halphageus Four. Not to be confused by the Fourth Diamond of the Tsar of Halphageus Three, which is only good for use as a paperweight. It holds down paper very well.

You're going to steal it. Borrow!" the Doctor corrected himself. "I meant borrow." He stopped again, then confessed. "No, I meant steal. The Third Diamond of the Tsar of Halphageus Four is a very useful power source that can fuel a device that will save your world and everyone on it, provided you can get retrieve it after hours without museum security noticing. Museums don't like their things taken, even if they are taken by the person the ancient messages are addressed to. Group work! Pairs, trios, quartets. I don't care as long as you're scheming with someone not inside your own head. After hours, low profile, heavy security on the case and the diamond itself. Figure out your way in and your way out with the diamond. You have the hour."

Claudia totally didn't catch the "not kidding" thing.

Robin wasn't sure yet how that would work. Maybe they could blind the cameras with the eggs. But where did the bacon fit in?

"Cause we don't want to try this on an empty stomach?" he guessed.

"We've got an hour. It's not super-quick to cook."

"Hmm, good point. Something faster. Like hotpockets maybe." There were bacon and eggs hot pockets right? And if not there should be.

"Yeah -- No. How did we get to talking about food? We're hear to steal a diamond."

She was just lucky he hadn't run off and returned with provisions.

"Right, the diamond. Any ideas?"

"I can probably handle the computer work. But I need to know what kind of B&E related experience you have."

Here they went again.

"Bert and Ernie?" was his next guess. Nice guys. Bright. Robin wasn't sure but he thought they might be brothers.

"Okay, now you're just making stuff up."

"You brought them up."

"Why would I be talking about some dudes named Bert and Ernie?"

"I don't know. I don't think I've ever heard of them needing to steal a diamond." Though it was possible. He heard they had some wacky adventures.

Claudia pressed her palm to her forehead. "Look, do you know anything about stealing from a place like this, or not?"

"No, this would be my first time." He was glad the Doctor had said how dire the situation was. Robin still wasn't comfortable with it, but at least it was for a good cause.

"See, you couldn't have said that the first time instead of ranting about food and a couple random dudes?"

"You said B and E. I don't know what that means."

"Seriously? It's kind of a common abbreviation." Where Claudia was from, anyway.

Robin didn't want to know why it was so common where she was from. "I guess we don't hear it as much in the Everglades." For one thing, not so many places to break into.

"Apparently."
