Classrooms Around Campus, All Day Saturday

It was Saturday, and that meant Career Day! Unbeknownst to all the students who had taken the career placement test, Fandom had apparently conspired to place them all in workshops that didn't quite fit the answers they gave for their tests. The island was tricky that way. Not to mention that the workshops that the island had planned were somewhat different from the workshops an ordinary school might offer on Career Day. As in quite a lot different.

So the classrooms all around the school were filled with visitors from off-island and island alike, all of whom had been led to believe that they would be teaching eager-minded groups of students, excited to learn about their prospective careers. This assumption was not necessarily accurate.

"Why?" Leia said. "What good is all that money when you have to constantly watch your back from people looking for revenge for what you've done?"

Boba considered that.

"Mostly those people are dead."

Wasn't he cheerful?

"Of course you'd think that," Leia said, rolling her eyes a little.

"Now, release Ben," she insisted.

"Yeah," Ben added, glaring.

"No."

Tying up Skywalkers was one of Boba's favorite things to do.

"I assume you're being paid for this workshop, since you only do things for money," Leia said, folding her arms. "And should I inform the school that you're attacking the students here, then I am certain they will revoke that payment, and you'll get absolutely nothing."

"Even when you are young, you are annoying," Boba grated. "He's not hurt. He's just stuck. I could put him in carbonite instead."

Yeah, no he couldn't.

"I don't care," Leia said, any reference to carbonite thankfully going over her head. "He's my nephew and I want him free. Now. Or Principal Winchester will find out all about what you're doing here."

And, of course, her father, who would totally beat Boba up, so there.

Oh, Mister Flouncealot Shouldbedead? Yeah, no.

"Say please."

Now Boba was just being a prick.

"Fine," Leia said tightly. "Please release Ben. Now."

"And I need to be paid for it."

Leia's response was to activate her comlink to start to call Zoe. She wasn't paying him a single credit.

"Fiiiiiine," Boba replied with an almost audible eyeroll, releasing Ben.

"Thank you," Leia said. "I'm glad we could come to an understanding here."

"It's only because no one has paid me to kidnap Skywalker," Boba replied.

And not because he was scared of Zoe. Really.

"You'd better think twice about accepting any job involving any member of my family," Leia said. "I'm sure you'll come to regret it."

Boba Fett wasn't known for having any kind of a sense of humor, but that cracked him up.
