D'anna considers the opening questions for a moment before offering, "the difference in communications with a stranger and those with someone who isn't a friend anymore varies by why that relationship broke down."

"Say one friendship faltered because of the wide distance or lack of communication as indicated by Elizabeth and Rory," D'anna nodded towards the other two girls. "If you ran into that person again, it might be awkward but probably less so than if things had ended in a fight or betrayal."
