Study Hall -- Thursday, October 27th

As usual, Sarah sits in front of the room -- however, she's now taken to watching everybody who comes into the room with an unusually close eye and scribbling down something in her notebook in an ominous way.

In honor of the upcoming Halloween holiday, there's a small cauldron full of candy on her desk, and the puppies lie in a basket next to the desk all wearing little orange bows around their necks.

Sonia follows Paige's gaze over to Sawyer, then nods and smiles at the girl. She does seem to be in better spirits than the other night.

"Vell, as long as you're happy, right? That's what's most important. And at least the break vos...amicable."

She reaches over and scratches the puppy's head, playing with one of his floppy ears.

"well everything's simple with him, I mean I think the problem with Geoff and I is that our feelings were too intense, I don't see that happening with Sawyer."

The puppy squirms in Paige's arms, "I think he likes you!"

Sonia laughs, and smiles. "Yes, I know exactly vhat you mean. I'm happy for you, though."

She strokes the soft fur under the puppy's neck, and grins when he licks her hand. "May I hold him?"

Paige smiles and hands the puppy over to Sonia, "sure, I think it's a he, but well I thought he'd not appreciate me checking too closely," she laughs

Sonia picks up the puppy, cuddling him close. "Hallo, meu prieten," she coos softly. The puppy yips and wriggles a bit, then licks her nose.

Paige laughs watching the puppy, "I'm not gonna be stay in the dorm room tonight, I'm likely to be back late so I figured I's sleep in the attic tonight"

"Oh! Vell, I can't speak for Lily or Lane, but I don't mind if you're coming in late. If it's easier for you to go to the attic, though...Your sisters live there, right?"

"No they're, well somewhere I guess but I could use a night alone I think, I'm not sure what's happening with my living arrangements yet. Has Lily mentioned anything to you?"

"Ah, alright. It seems like Lily did mention something- I'll talk to her tonight, see vhat she says. It'd be nice if you could move in vith us- if you vant to, of course." She smiles at Paige over the puppy's head, absentmindedly stroking his fur.
