Study Hall -- Thursday, October 27th

As usual, Sarah sits in front of the room -- however, she's now taken to watching everybody who comes into the room with an unusually close eye and scribbling down something in her notebook in an ominous way.

In honor of the upcoming Halloween holiday, there's a small cauldron full of candy on her desk, and the puppies lie in a basket next to the desk all wearing little orange bows around their necks.

"Okay then, as long as it's not all uncomfortable silences and Lily never meeting my eyes.

Of course, that's assuming they're still together after Parents Weekend."

"True, talk about awkward," Angelus said. "Hell, that applies to the whole thing. In this school who knows who's still going to be hanging out with whom by Thanksgiving weekend? As wacky as this place is, it's just as likely that you'll be dating Lily by then."

"Yeah right. Lily and I will be lucky if we manage to get along for Draco's sake, totally not my type.

I know he's been all emo about Lily and his mom meeting so let's hope we avoid bloodshed. Then again, that could be fun too."

"I'm all for avoiding the curse of emo," Angelus shuddered. "As far as I'm concerned it is a curse. Stake me if I should fall victim to it, would you? But of course you've already agreed to that which is part of why you and I are such good friends."

"I suppose I've had a moment or two of emo since coming here but it really seems to be like some kind of plague here. Hey, you're pretty old right? You remember the plague, did it sweep and destroy as quickly as the emo around here?

And hey, what kind of friend refuses to vow to kill the other should the emo take him?"

"Emo is a force of evil onto itself," Angelus said. "And coming from me that's saying something. Frankly, I don't know what sane person wouldn't beg for death once being taken over by it."
