Adventures, Capers and Escapes - Danger Shop, Thursday, Period 3
"Raise your hand and give an exasperated look if you've ever been on the receiving end of unwanted amorous attention." The Doctor raised his hand, gave an exasperated look and then raised the other hand. "There is no greater escape than from the clutches of someone who thinks they're in love with you. Or lust. Sometimes they can't tell the difference. Sometimes it doesn't matter. In the spirit of yesterday, and no I don't want to talk about it, and the upcoming Valentine's Day...thing," he said, looking as if the words themselves tasted bad, "you're going to put your skills to the test."
He walked down the centre of the group to separate them. "You," he said to the group on his left once he turned around. "Are in love with them. One of them, some of them, all of them. You can work it out and surprise each other. Those to my right are not in love with these amorous sorts. Left group, start using your powers of persuasion to tell the intended target of your love how much you care about them. Keep it clean, please. I've spent enough time with Jack Harkness to have had my fill of below the belt comments. Right group, time to use your powers of persuasion to tell this lot to kindly get lost. Cara? No weapons, no touching. The same goes for the rest of you. Fifteen minutes, then switch sides so you have to deal with being annoyed and being the annoyer. Then we're going to sit here and eat because fending off the advances of unwanted attention is tiring."
There was a table full of food for everyone after the exercise. Of course, it was also a good place to retreat from the group if you'd had enough of the exercise after five minutes.

Re: First Fifteen
That was actually physically impossible.
"I hope you weren't trying to treat this entirely seriously," she said, diplomatically.
Re: First Fifteen
There. That answered her question without being totally out of character.

"Oh yes," Claudia said breathily. "I'm an experienced lover."
She almost managed to say that with a straight face.
Re: First Fifteen
Re: First Fifteen
That made sense, right?
Re: First Fifteen
Hey, she could play along.
