Journalism Class - Thursday October 27

Spider's busy with his laptop, again sitting on top of his desk. There is a large black rubbery looking spider affixed to the back of the screen. There is a loud chorus of 'ribbit-ribbit' from beneath his desk which even the newsfeeds can't drown out. The cat is lurking atop his desk, peering into the space beneath it and causing a panicked rise in the croaking every time she does so.

"Good morning class. Today I'm looking for a volunteer from each group from our last homework. I'd like them to get together and choose someone to open the Classroom on Saturday so that each group can set up a full display of their campaign for the visiting parents. I will not be here this weekend to take care of it myself, as I am leaving the school tonight for an official trip to the City and will not return until Monday morning." He paused to close his laptop and stand up, looking down in case of errant frogs before actually taking a step and gesturing to the class. "There will be no homework assigned tomorrow as a result and I hope to have everyone's grades and attendance records available for viewing on Monday as well as the current class roster. There is no assignment today, save organizing the display of your projects for Parents Weekend."

Xander sat down next to her, putting a shoebox and a stack of printed papers on his desk. He passed her a copy of tomorrow's flier. "That's what she looks like in hard copy. Not too bad, even if it turned out a little pinker than I'd like. I'm heading into town after class, so I'll get the, uh, garnishes, then."

Looking slightly preoccupied, Krycek took a seat as well. "So I should have something for the newspaper ad by tomorrow, as well as copy for the radio ad." He looked annoyed at being the one furthest behind in output.

"Hey," D'anna smiled. She might not be thrilled with Logan or his tactics, but over all she was proud of her group. Their campaign was fresh and interesting, and she was feeling pretty good about it. "That's good to hear. I'm hoping to have the next poster up tonight."

"They still look great, Xander." D'anna took the copy offered and grinned. "Let me know if you need help putting on the 'garnishes', yeah?"

Xander grinned. "You mean if I need 'help' eating the extra ones?"

"Sure, that too," D'anna laughed.
