Ben had a fistful of arrows in his hand and a really irritated look on his face as he watched the little flying people circle in the air. "Okay, it's not technically audio or visual," he said, "but today we're working on shields. You can either try to come up with one using high technology like the stuff I use at home around ships or you can build one out of metal or wood or--would you stop that?" he demanded, yanking another arrow out of the air.

"Anyway," he said, rolling his eyes. "Try to ignore them. Maybe they'll go away."

Ben was beginning to wonder if the book thing hadn't been all that bad.
