Club Fair - Gym - Friday

For a second time since he'd been at this school, Blackagar somehow managed to stumble upon the club fair as it was being set up. Had he been more genre savvy, he might have made a comment about it.

But that was not the case, so he was just going to take a seat and enjoy watching people and their clubs.

And, oh look! A club schedule!

[[Please wait for the OCD is up!]]

If asked, George was going to facepalm and explain that the paperwork must have been misfiled, or something, because she had in no way intended to run this club for a second semester in a row.

This was a blatant lie.

She sort of ... almost ... enjoyed it. In a way. And would have missed it, had it been gone. It was a fucked up excuse for a club, but it was their fucked up excuse for a club.

So she had sent the paperwork in, on time, and filled out neatly.

Which she was going to lie about.

"So hey, do I have to start wearing a helmet around you?" Puck asked, wandering over. "Or are you feeling a little less like throwing shit at my head?"

George was giving Puck a strange look. But it was a good kind of strange look, the kind that had the hint of a smile around the edges.

"You sent me flowers," she said. As if waiting for him to explain that one.

Puck smiled a little, and leaned on the table. "Is that okay, that I did?"

"Yeah?" she said, looking up at him oddly. "I mean, of course it is. It's ... I don't know."

She hesitated. "I'm ... sorry I ... threw candy at you?"

She sounded unsure abot that. Not because she was, but because George really sucked at things like apologies.

"I'm sorry I didn't stay," he said quietly, raising a brow at her, "and that I didn't call, okay? Can we be friends again, even though I'm a dick and you threw candy at me?"

"You didn't have to stay," George said. "I mean, I knew you weren't going to. Before. I mean, I should have realized you weren't. We didn't -- I wasn't thinking you were my boyfriend or anything. I was just being ... stupid. I don't know. I felt weird. I'd ... I'd like to be friends again, yeah."

George felt strangely like she was growing up. Which was weird, what with being dead and all.

Maybe Jono was right, and she shouldn't let that stop her.

"No, dude, seriously, I probably should've stayed, or at least checked on you," Puck sighed, because Kate had actually knocked that into his head, yes. "It's a bigger deal for chicks, and I forgot, and it was a dick move on my part. So you got flowers. Call it square?"

He actually felt good for apologizing, and not like he was losing anything. Besides, having sex with her had been fun, and while chances were slim that it'd happen again, he probably shouldn't ruin the shot there.
