A/V - Theatre Tech Club Meeting, School Theatre, 5pm

On the stage, arrayed on a makeshift table constructed from an ancient flat and a pair of sawhorses, there are a variety of foods: carafes of coffee, cocoa and mulled cider, bowls of crisp local apples, platters of cookies, brownies and rice crispy treats, and, scattered among them, an assortment of candies in wrappers - chocolates and toffees and gummies and lollipops. Scooter sits in a bright orange bar-stool height director's chair, flipping through a catalog, waiting for people to show up.

John wanders in, not sure if he has the right place. He knocks on the doorjamb and calls out a hello.

Scooter turns from talking to Barbossa when he hears someone call out a greeting. "Hi! Welcome to A/V Club. Come on down to the stage!," he calls to the young man standing in the doorway.

"Uh, hi." John walks closer to the stage.
"So do you guys have PA equipment? Karaoke equipment and all that?"

"Yes to the PA equipment. Probably to the karaoke - I'm still working on sorting through all the stuff that came with this theatre and the tech department." Scooter pauses, realizing that he's forgotten to introduce himself. "Anyway, I'm Scooter and I'm the A/V tech for the school."

"So. Is it possible for students to borrow or rent the equipment? I'm thinking that a drunken karaoke night on the Monday after ParentsWeekendFromHell would be a good relaxer."
