Today we’re going to discuss this topic:

Slim odds: What do you do when there is a lot of them and very few of you.

I think we should split you up into small groups for discussion today. We could even turn this into a debate it you feel up to it.

Faith grins at the idea of debating slim odds, and looks around for a group.

"Wanna team up?" Logan asks.

"Yeah, that sounds awesome," Faith says with a grin.

"All right," Logan says, switching desks to be closer to Faith. "What do you do when you're outnumbered?"

Faith shrugged. "Fight harder. What else can you do, right? What about you?"

"Get my ass kicked and end up in jail," Logan said. "But that might've just been the one time."

"Well, yeah. Hopefully you wouldn't go and make a pattern of that."

"Possibly not my best approach," Logan agreed, rubbing his chin. "Generally, when outnumbered, I try to avoid the actual violence part of things."

"Yeah?" Faith asked. "How do you manage that?"

"Poorly," admitted Logan.

I'll be presenting a scenario to the groups for next class, but continue to discuss strategies. We'll see how they all hold up.

"Yeah," Belthazor agreed, joining Faith and Logan. "Try to find cover or a superior position but keep fighting."
