Quantum Physics 123: Wednesday 26 October
[The Doctor still smells vaguely of smoke, even though his hair's still damp from the shower.]
Hello, everyone.Beatings Presentations will continue until morale improves. Jack and Cally's was quite good, and while I don't expect you to have building blocks on hand, I'm certain that the rest of you can come up with something equally brilliant.
carter_i_am, you're excused from this assignment, but could you see me after class to talk about your project?

PRESENTATIONS
"Uh, we discussed the weapons ban and what would happen if the weapons ban was never even brought up or instituted and what would happen if the weapons ban was strictly enforced."
"I'm gonna do the 'what if' for the weapons ban never being instituted."
John picks up several classroom supplies and puts them in the pockets of his pants. He then picks up two chair and carries them in his hands as if they're weaponss.
"WHAT?" He tries to make his voice as deep as possible. "You don't like me?" He then pumps the chair a few times and mocks a shooting gun. "No one calls me that!" He uses the other chair as a slashing sword and slashes the air.
"WHAT? You gave me a C on my paper?" John drops one of the chairs and snatches the stapler out of his pocket, shooting staples into the air. "Give me an A or I'll staple you!"
He continues doing this, making stupid threats to students, teachers, and admins with his 'weapons.'
Finally, out of breath, he puts the chairs down. "So, if the weapons ban had never been instituted in any kind of way, there would've been threats for stupid reasons, unnecessary fear, and the smell of gunpowder in the air."
Re: PRESENTATIONS
Tell me, what do you think would have occurred had there been restriction of magic users along with the weapons ban?
Re: PRESENTATIONS
John pauses for a moment. "I think a lot of weapons users were upset by the lack of attention to the magic users. Even just saying that they had a restriction on the use of their magic might've alleviated the magic user/weapon user tension."
Re: PRESENTATIONS
[Then he picks up a pen and scribbles something down in his notebook.]

"My turn," she says. "I get to take care of the stringent ban part. Now, for the most part, the school settled down a bit after the ban. However, for a while, any accidents or surprises might have led to nothing less than total paranoia, particularly for those at school who do not regularly return home to get away from the chaos. Concealed weapons might have been smuggled into the school." Jessica then proceeds to do an admirable imitation of Mr. Bean ((I don't know if you've ever watched those, but there's this one episode where he's at an airport and puts his hand into his coat. The police come out and say "put your weapon down!" and he takes his hand and puts it on the ground...lol))
"Of course, the teachers would suspect something, and sooner or later Professor Jerusalem would probably burst something and close down the school." She holds up a sign with a picture of the school and an imitation of Spider's handwriting ("Stay away. Angry dog inside fence.")
