Student Council | Friday Lunchtime

"Blah blah, meeting in session." Barney was starting regardless of who hadn't shown up. "Okay people, it's your asses on the line here. I promised the principal and the town that the Fandom High Student Council was up for the task of putting on a Thanksgiving feast. Will you be the ones to let down the step mother of our most glorious StuCo President ever? You got some big shoes to fill, el presidente." A pointed look toward Karev and Barney was back on track. "Now, you kiddos gotta grab that holiday by the nuts and make it work like you're Tim Gunn and we're hitting the runway in five minutes. Live the reality, my people!" That had to mean something, right?

"We should work out how many people we need to feed."

"The past few years, we've had about twenty or so people stick around," Alex chimed in, recalling last year, at least. "I know a lot of people from the different worlds stay local, at least."

"I'm going home," Quinn mused. "Maybe we could put a sign-up in the dorm lobby for the weekend, just to get a rough head count."

"Yeah, that might be a good idea," Alex agreed, thoughtful. "It would help on the amount of food to get, at least. I'm not going home so I can do that unless someone else wants to take it."

"I'll be here too."

Once again, Alexander was pretty sure he didn't understand more than half of what their fearless StuCo leader had actually just said, which left him having a moment of making sure his brain still worked before offering out a nice, vague, "I'll be happy to help in any way I can..."
