Study Hall -- Tuesday, October 25th

Sarah sits at the front desk occasionally glaring at the notebook and stack of papers at the far edge of the desktop. Instead of the constant scribbling she's been doing for days, she's got a deck of cards and is shuffling them over and over again out of boredom. She's horribly tempted to go out and play Texas Hold 'em with Locker 327, but she doesn't trust the fucking thing enough. Or, you know, at all.

Jonathan writes soething down on a piece of paper and hands it to Angelus.

"That (http://www.livejournal.com/users/master_of_fear/7732.html?thread=66612#t66612) was on the new whiteboard on Draco and my dorm room when I went by there today," Jonathan explains while rolling his eyes, "I'd twirl my mustache but wouldn't you know, I left it in my other pair of evil pants.

"Everybody looks good in leather," Angelus murmured as he read the paper. He frowned. "Well that's... vague. Could be anything from the time you pushed an old lady to your stint as a Communist. Or about you and Draco"

Yeah, I mean, if you're trying to intimidate me, can we be specific or something. omg, no one knows about that! Might just have to give the leather thing a try, seeing as the mustache was so hard to pull off.

"There's always the fashion show," Angelus reminded him. "We could get you on stage, see if there's anything you like."

Jonathan looks down at himself and then gives Angelus the once over.

"I don't think I'd be quite the attractor you'd be. I'm no fashion plate and who even knows if leather won't just hang off of me oddly?

"Try some out," Angelus said. "You never know. Besides, you're pretty enough."

Jonathan tries hard not to blush but totally fails. He looks down at the table and says, "I guess I could try it, I mean if everyone else is then at least I won't be alone. I probably won't look as good as you do though," he finishes with a smile.

Angelus gave him a studious look. "What size are you? Could borrow something of mine to try."

"I don't think your clothes would fit me, I'm way to skinny. I mean, in my old school they used to call me 'Scarecrow' because I'm so skinny. I'm about a size 29 though, if you really want me to try.

"There's always tailors," Angelus shrugged. "We'll find a way. Scarecrow, huh? Suppose it's not inappropriate."

"Jonathan shrugged and gestured toward himself, "Believe it or not this is actually me after filling out quite a bit. I'm willing to give it a try Faith's doing it to right? And there are co-ed changing rooms?

Yeah, not inappropriate at all if you think about it."

"I meant considering your interest in psychology," Angelus clarified. Would I be sponsoring this thing if Faith wasn't in it with co-ed changing rooms?

Jonathan looks puzzled, "I am completely not following you," he says. I'm completely following your subtext though

Angelus took the piece of paper and scribbled down. You like scaring people.

Jonathan felt extremely stupid because that had been the obvious answer and he'd dismissed it.

"Oh yeah, that," he replied running his fingers nervously through his hair, "I prefer not to psycho analyse myself, but I'm sure if I did I'd draw some kind of corelation between one thing and the other."

Angelus shrugged. "Not unusual to take control by becoming what you don't like."

"I prefer to live in ignorance and continue on thinking my motivations are purely scientific and that I'm not just another geek out for vengence. Even if that's a total lie."

Angelus snickered. "I can respect that. Me? I'm only sometimes out for vengence. Usually I'm out for art."
