Parkour Club - Main School Gate, Tuesday Afternoon

"The good news is," Kyle said when just about everyone was there, "if you're back to normal, you don't have to learn how to do everything all over again because your center of gravity is different. So, good for everyone. There's no bad news. I just like starting with good news. We're going to do something different today. I drew maps for everyone." He handed out some rough sketches of Fandom's buildings and town layout. "We're here," he pointed to the main gate. "Sometimes the roads aren't clear or aren't safe to use because they're so out in the open. That's where climbing and jumping can be used to get you to where you want to be without having to use the ground too much. Let's say we wanted to get to Efferton Manor from here. Look at the buildings. Look at the alleys. Look at what you could use and what you're capable of. Talk to each other and figure out what you think is a good route to use. The other thing I thought we could work on is speed. You have to have speed to make some of the longer jumps. Anyone want to race down Apocalypse Avenue?"

Was it terrible of Alexander that he was considering these maps and potential routes and thinking of how it would be rather...interesting to go home and figure out how to do this around Daventry Castle...

Kurt didn't need to plan a route, and he already had a pretty good map of the island in his head. Speed, though... He could always use some practice with that.

He looked around shyly. "Anyone want to race?"

Bond was there, and back to being a Mr too.

Aly'd been wondering about this particular club for a while, and today she could stop by and actually check it out.

"What exactly are they doing?" she murmured to Bond as she paused on the way up to the school. "Because I'm wondering if it's 'how to steal and not get caught' club right now." Not that she didn't sound amused by that fact.
doubleohblonde: (Bond is not unhappy)

"Learning how to way move through urban environments quickly and gracefully," Bond explained, also murmuring. "I am simply astonished you'd think any of our students would abuse this knowledge."

All his students were perfect angels after all. Really.

She snorted. "Terribly astonished, yes. They so rarely do anything to lead one to expect a sense of mischief or troublemaking."
doubleohblonde: (Bond is smugly relaxed)

"Or at least have the good sense to do so were we won't notice. At least one would hope."

"Now that, I would expect," Aly agreed. "It's just sloppy to let themselves be noticed."

"And that would be simply terrible." Mmm...priorities.

"I certainly would never allow such a thing," she murmured, just a little smile playing over her lips.

"It would reflect badly on us as teachers if they didn't learn something as simple as discretion from us."

Says the man who blew up an embassy, on camera. But it only happened the once.

Aly glanced up at him, chuckling a little. "Oh, would it now?" she teased.

Bond grinned. "We have to set an example," he replied, as primly as possible. Which wasn't very.

"Couldn't expect anything less," she agreed easily. "And how have you been setting a good example todayy?"

Bond gestured to any club members still in sight. "I've been advising. And you?"

"I was thinking about showing them how it's done," Aly commented, cocking an eyebrow at him in an obvious challenge.
doubleohblonde: (Bond is smugly relaxed)

Bond's grin broadened. "That would fall under the heading of advising," he replied, since he could very rarely resist a challenge.

"Would it now," she teased. "Then I suppose we better do it. To help them out, you know."

"It's the responsible thing to do." And fun.
