Food Appreciation [Week 7, Period 4, Mon. 10/18]

John was still a girl. And an unhappy-looking one at that.

But today he had to teach class and, boobs or not, he was there to get the job done. Once it seemed like most students had arrived, John got started. "Yeah, so for those of you without eyes I'm a chick. It's happened before and lasted a week so don't look to me for pity if you're in the same boat. Especially since my rack's better than yours." That was maybe an awkward comment. "Uh, let's move on. In honor of Fandom hating on some of us, I've ordered up Chinese and I'm sticking in a movie about how awesome Chinese food is. Or something. I don't know, there were subtitles and a lot of elaborate dinners involved. Anyhow, watch, eat, and try not to laugh too hard at your peers."

Huh, he shouldn't have limited that. "Or at me."

All those little cartons of ~~moddable~~ Chinese food were calling out to be consumed!

The biggest problem with being a girl - at least as far as George was concerned right this moment - was that his center of balance was totally different. And so every time he tried to lounge back in his chair, he lost his balance and had to jerk forward.

Stupid Chinese food getting all over his shirt.

The only problem John could see was that George looked far too much like teenage Jaina. He glared and stuck an egg roll in his mouth.

With a bump, George sat forward quickly, trying to catch his balance. The teacher was glaring at him. Why was the teacher glaring at him? He hadn't been checking him out...too much. "...wha?"

"Just making sure everyone's enjoying their meal," John replied, eyeing teen Jaina and deciding this was all very unfair to him.

He eyed John right back. "Aye, tis very nice," he said, still suspicious. "Whatever it t'is, I didn' do it."

Okay, the way he talked was really jarring and helped John separate things. "Sorry kid, your new face reminds me of an old friend."

"Jaina, aye?" George replied, seemingly unphased by the comment. He snickered a little. "She didn't be findin' it too funny last year, no."

"Yeah, I think I heard about that." Via an angry Jacen-twin showing up to see him. "She's looking like your future this week."

He smirked at John. "Nah, my future'll be far better lookin'."

Calvin still had boobs and Hobbes was still making fun of him for it.

Woe.

Jane was still a girl, like she was supposed to be. And while she'd usually be more than happy to mock everyone else... this might actually be too weird for her to do so.

Joolushko hadn't eaten any real food yesterday due to being unwilling to leave her room in this unfortunate condition. She had decided earlier this morning that avoiding possible embarrassment was not worth missing a class and continuing to starve. And if the cries she'd heard echoing in the hallways earlier were any indication, at least she wasn't alone in having this affliction continue for a day longer than historical precedent said it ought to.

All of this was a rather too wordy explanation for why she was here, gulping down sweet and sour tofu.

Momoko was significantly calmer now. And hearing that this had happened before helped even more.

Feed, Chug, Dude, Chick played on a large screen so all could enjoy its subtitled glory while munching on fried wontons.

Alex was still totally enjoying this whole girl thing. Yeah, he preferred being a guy but he didn't mind being a girl either. Besides, this class was easy enough. He just had to eat and watch movies.

Pretty sweet deal.

Kate was pretty okay with being a dude, still. Everything felt a little bit different, even eating Chinese food.

Watching movies, though, not so much. But it wasnt like she minded.

And through the movie Jane was looking around, trying to tell if she was the only one who was still their right gender. Granted, knowing who was or wasn't supposed to have breasts today would mean having paid attention to her classmates before today...

The Chinese food was helping with his attitude in case anyone felt the need to talk.
