The Club Fair - Gym - Friday Afternoon 9/24/10

To be perfectly honest, Blackagar wasn't sure how he ended up being in the gym this afternoon. Let alone being one of the first people there.

But that was just how life worked sometimes.

Plus, it gave him a chance to look over the new clubs first! Score for him.

Momoko was staring at the display for the club with a frown of confusion on her face. She liked the club! It was probably her favourite, right next to Flight club (which reminded her, she needed to see if that club was sponsored this semester), but she was totally not happy with guns right now.

So... should she join or not?

Triela glanced up, saw Momoko, and started writing on the club roster.

"Akatsutsumi Momoko. Still borrowing one of my guns for this?"

Apparently she was joining.

"What?" She sounded surprised. "Why not?"

"I'm confused!" Momoko sighed. How to explain this to Triela?

"I don't want to kill people, even when they're villains or monsters. I thought that by learning more about guns, I'd be learning how to defeat them or use them for good, too. Like we did in Mr Winchester's class."

"Okay." Triela thought that this whole not-killing people was silly, but Momoko wasn't the only one hung up on it.

"So what's wrong?"

"..." Momoko blinked at her. "So, I'm not doing that? All I'm doing is getting better at shooting the center target - at 'killing'. I don't want that."

"Oh. Uhm. Because I didn't think about it? I thought that maybe all you could do was what we were doing." Momoko raised an eyebrow, interested. "What kind of techniques?"

"We could discuss disarming techniques. Or disabling shots. Or shot counting. Any number of things that can be helpful even if you're not trying to kill people."

Triela braced herself so that she only rocked back a little bit under the impact. "I know. And, yes, we can. I'll make a note on the schedule."

"Thank you!" Momoko pulled back, grinning happily. "Yay! I do like shooting and getting better. It's just that it's totally not the same seeing a range target with holes in it as, well, you know?"
