"We're on a bridge, Charlie!" the Doctor declared. He really shouldn't have given Sarah Jane's son his email address. He wound up with links to YouTube videos in his inbox and they really were quite addicting. There was probably something nefarious going on in there knowing Google, but investigating would have to wait. "Anyway, hello. Bridges. You're standing on one. This is the Tower Bridge in London, which is in Great Britain. Look it up. You might know it as the London Bridge, but that's wrong, because the London Bridge is that one over there," he pointed to the next one up the river, "and you should know better than to believe everything television tells you.

It's a combined bascule and suspension bridge, if you're interested in that sort of thing, but if you wanted to know all about the mechanics of a bridge you should go and try to build one. Or read about it, if you're not the hands-on type." The Doctor leaned over the edge, then spun around and flung his arms out to gesture at the towers. "Bridges are so much more than marvels of architecture. There are natural bridges, but they're not nearly so interesting as artificial bridges. Does anyone know why?" Like he was going to give them a chance to answer. Please. "They're symbols, and we all know how powerful those can be. Bridges close gaps. Bridges are a sign of someone not only going 'well, that's impossible to cross without a lot of effort' but deciding to make that normally insurmountable gap, or at least really difficult to cross gap, accessible to everyone. Determination. Hope. Dedication. A service to the community. All of those things can be embodied in bridges." He looked up at it and patted the railing. "And that's pretty admirable for a few bits and bolts thrown together. What do you think about it all? About building something for yourself and for other people? About knowing that something is so big and so hard to reach, but getting there anyway? Or we could just talk about bridges," the Doctor said with a little smile.

"From what I understand," Raven said with a smile. "Do we wish to make this open to all who want to go, or to invite a smaller group of people?"

"I don't know... I don't want to plan for too many people if we don't have to, you know? But I don't want to exclude anyone if I don't have to."

"A smaller group might be better," Raven agreed. "Easier to keep track of all of us. Perhaps we can both invite a few friends?"

"As long as no one feels excluded or anything..." Jaime said thoughtfully.

"Then you should send out an email to all the students," Raven pointed out.

"That sounds so... formal." And Jaime wasn't good at formal.

Raven shook her head and laughed. "You are very indecisive," she said.

"So sue me," he laughed.

"I would rather you decide," Raven said lightly. "To invite a small group of people, or invite the entire school."

"You're no help," Jaime complained, rolling his eyes in amusement.

"I already offered my opinion!" Raven protested.

"You offered both opinions," he objected. Which wasn't really an accusation.

"I would prefer a smaller group," Raven clarified.

"Let's do that, then," Jaime decided.

"Maybe... six or seven people in all? Though I guess we should find our tour guide before we make too many plans, huh?"

Raven nodded. "I will ask Kennedy if she is familiar with London," she said.

"Thanks," Jaime smiled. "I'll... try to think of anyone I might know..."

"Surely it cannot be that difficult," Raven teased.

"Hey, it's not like I have a rolodex of tour guides, you know."

"I though you were referring to whom you would invite," Raven said.

"Oh, that I can do," Jaime laughed.

"Do you have anyone in mind?" Raven asked curiously.

"Oh, I don't know yet. Probably Momoko. Maybe my new roommate... A couple of other people. You?"

"If Kennedy wishes to go, then I would surely invite Tara," Raven said, thinking it over. "Karla, of course. I am not certain if Jono would want to go, but maybe Sookie and Bobby."

"Doesn't hurt to ask, right?"

"Oh, yes," Raven said. "I will definitely ask him." She hesitated a moment, not certain if she would be treading on sensitive ground, then asked, "Do you think Dinah would like to join us as well?"
