Gabrielle wasn't exactly rushing to get through her morning duties at the beginning of this particular library shift, although the frenetic pace at which she went about the initial round of reshelving couldn't entirely be blamed on the WorkJuice coffee.

She just had pressing things on her mind -- like looking up the address for the History Channel, then drafting up a long, scathing letter about how of course there were female warriors in history, and what did they mean by implying it was only a theory? People in this age, honestly. Directing a choir of rock formations had been less frustrating.

There were still tiny stuffed giraffe's in Henry's offic, and he could swear some of them had moved since the night before.

He eyed them cautiously, then started to assemble a diorama under the lemons-into-lemonade principle.
