Applied Dadaism, Tuesday, period 2
The students were handwavily notified to meet at the beach for today's class, and were met there by Artie, standing proud and posed in his red and blue striped vintage swimsuit in front of the water.
"Welcome, my little vikings! Today is our last class." He gave an exaggeratedly despondent look at that -- when Artie looked emo, he looked emo. "I would like to teach you all an old tradition I learned from a dear old friend, a farewell to summer, a protest of the return of drudgey, bescabbed, not-summer existence. Today we beat up the ocean!"
And he let out a warrior's bellow and ran headlong, knees high into the surf, where he proceeded to start punching and kicking at waves.
"Take that, foul disturber! I'll bet you ride a Schwinn!" A wave smacked him in the face. "Oh ho, in a fiesty mood today! We'll show you, Schwinn rider!
"Vikings! Attack!"

Beat up the ocean
Re: Beat up the ocean
Seriously. Zack couldn't think of anything he would rather do with his morning than run about like a ninny, kicking and punching at the surf. It was like exercise and training and fun, all rolled into one!
Re: Beat up the ocean
Delirium was having fun on the beach, and managing not to get drowned. As if that could happen, anyway.
Re: Beat up the ocean
"From hell's heart, I stab at thee!" he joked.
Re: Beat up the ocean
She waded in up to her waist, and started punching out and splashing like a loon.
Re: Beat up the ocean
...was entirely far too appropriate for Ariel right now.
It was more than just beating up the ocean; it was so totally defying everything that loomed over her threateningly like a dark cloud if she did not get that kiss and get it soon.
She couldn't exactly shout out insults, but she made up for it with her gusto.
