"Good morning," Steve said. "I hope everyone had an uneventful and peaceful weekend last week and enjoyed your day off while remaining in a safe space," but somehow he doubted it. "Anyway, we're going to move right along and keep working with the pottery wheel. You already know how this works now, so just...have fun, okay? Okay."

Bobby reached up to run a hand through his hair... and came away with bits of clay stuck to his hand.

"Oh, jeeze," he said sheepishly. "I hope I- I didn't snore, did I?" he gave Rilla a wide-eyed look of worry.

She smiled at him. "No, I only let you sleep for a minute. I was trying to see if you were being strangely artistic or just very tire."

He looked down at the table and the lump of clay that now had an impression of his face. "I suppose it's a bit too late now to try and convince you it really was on purpose?" he asked hopefully.

"Was it at least a comfortable tiny nap?" she asked.

"As far as pillows go, clay rates above tables but below, well, actual pillows," Bobby informed Rilla as he attempted to keep a straight face.

"Perhaps if you tried to make a larger pillow out of clay?" Rilla replied, eyes sparkling. "Would that be a compromise?"
