There was a simple sign pasted on the door to the Danger Shop that day. There was no sign of a teacher.

It simply read,

I'm assuming you already encountered a class's worth of field experience last weekend.

Take one.

With any luck you won't have been too incompetent, either...

Near the front of the door was a small pile of books on gun care.

Cloud stared at the sign...and shrugged. Incompetence would have meant death for anyone that got thrown to other worlds.
