Competitive Cooking - Wednesday, Period 3 [7/28]

Piper was sipping coffee when she arrived at the classroom this morning. She was also carrying a small basket with her. "Hi everyone. I brought muffins. Feel free to take one."

She placed the basket on the front table. "This week you'll be working with eggs. You can do a lot with those. You need them for pretty much every baked good. Plus, there are a lot of ways you can cook them."

With that, she passed out a handout before a short lecture on various ways to cook eggs. "You don't have to make any of these. They're just a few suggestions." She then let them get started on the assignment.

She was more thoughtful than anything, it had to be admitted, and not particularly thoughtful about class, though she was taking her usual notes and listening.

Appearances had to be kept up after all.

Hoshi was there, ready to help put out any fires if needed. Hopefully there wouldn't be any fires, though. She'd much rather have a nice souffle.

Angela was picking at a blueberry one as she watched the cookery today. It made watching but not yet being able to eat yet a whole lot more bearable.
