Pottery-Making 101, Friday 2, July 23

"Good morning, everyone," Steve said. "Today we're going to work on making a coil pot. This is, again, something humans have been doing for thousands of years, so. Shouldn't be too hard." One corner of his mouth turned up. "Famous last words, right?" Steve walked them through the process of rolling out a snake of clay and coiling it into pot form, and then left them to it. "Have fun, guys."

((Sorry this is so horrendously late! My internet access has been like, "LOL no," for no apparent reason. But it's working now!))

Ariel was managing three out of those four options. The coiling things was intentional. The don't talk was inevitable. The making a mess was just a wonderful by-product.
