When Piper arrived, she placed a container on the table in front of the classroom. "Morning everyone. I brought brownies. Feel free to take one." She made them herself, of course.

"Today, the ingredient you're going to work with is cheese. That's a pretty easy one. You can make so much with it." She then went into a short lecture about what can be made with cheese, many of the recipes being Italian dishes. "Okay, so try to pair up with someone you haven't worked with, yet. As always, I'm here if you have any questions."

"Depends on what she's trying to boss me about," Peter said, cutting the onion a bit more. "I'm sometimes right about a few things, after all."

Peter acted hurt, pressing a hand to his chest. "And they say words will never hurt," he said, smirking. "I suppose you just haven't had a chance to see me at my brightest."

"I'll let you know next time it happens," Peter said with a smile. He wiped his slightly watery eyes and set down the knife. "The onion is diced."

She spooned the bacon out of the pot, leaving the grease behind. "Add it to the bottom," she commanded.
