Advanced Sneakiness [Tuesday, July 13, 1st period]

Today the Danger Shop was set up as a very sedate garden party, complete with a bar (with a horrifically long line for what would turn out to be entirely alcohol-free drinks), waitstaff passing trays of dubious-looking appetizers and a band playing music designed to make you fall asleep in the shrubbery.

Anakin, who had spent far too much of his time as a Jedi attending such events, had designed this scenario himself, and strode out from the throng of partygoers (if this could really even be considered a party) and waved his hand to turn the chatter and the music off.

"Welcome to your next assignment," he said with a small smile as he glanced around at his students. "I'm a bit disappointed none of you found me last week. Perhaps you shall do better with a different environment." He waved his hand. "Behold, the cocktail party. Be it a dorm party, a homecoming dance, or a diplomatic function, it is guaranteed that there will be at least one person attending with you that you have no wish at all to speak with. Today Anemone, Elena and I will be playing such people. Your mission is to not get trapped into a conversation with us while not looking as if you are avoiding us like we carry something both smelly and catching." He smiled evilly evilly before waving his hand again. "Begin."

"You don't want people to be unaware of the consequences of recent events, do you?" Elena said, trying her best to look guilt-inducing. "We're fighting this atrocity, but we can't do it alone."
