The Danger Room has been programmed to resemble the press briefing room at the White House. On each chair is the student's name on an etched brass plaque. Make sure you only sit in the chair with your name on it.

At the ends of each rows are thick folders rubber banded to a large stack of books. Behind the lectern is a white pull down screen covering the seal of the United States of America.

CJ stands at the lectern, wearing her glasses. She looks up as the students enter the room and checks their name off the list.

Honor System, Gang. If YOU know you have detention, please serve it. Not all the teachers submitted information, or else there were late additions. Thanks.

Ok. It's Saturday. It's detention. I'm supposed to mention about your wicked, wicked ways...yeah, not going to do that. Work harder. Quit screwing around. In some misguided attempt to keep you all sane and alive I signed up for this gig, so let's make the best of a bad situation, and make CJ happy, ok? [She smiles]

All right gang, this is going to be as painless or as painful as you choose for it to be. I want you in groups of not more than four. You each have a different stack of information. These are reports that are sent to the government so we can decide what to give money to. We had an intern, Winnie, and she's read them all and briefed me on them.

Your detention, since most of you are here for not doing your homework, is to consolidate the information, come up with a coherant presentation, and then get up here and present your findings to the rest of us. If you do it well, single moms and garbagemen get to keep on making a living. If not, you damage the environment, poison the masses, and generally create hell on Earth and destroy our noble Democracy as we know it.

But first, we're going to watch a couple films to help orient you to politics as I know and love them.

[Walks to the back, flips off the lights, and starts an old fashioned reel projector. Footage of the Kennedy-Nixon debates flashes on the screen at the front of the room and the lights dim so they can watch.]

I will post sub threads for different detention activities through the day.

[Takes a bite, then holds the kale for bunny!Logan to nibble]

I never did come in to play Patroness like I promised.

Chuckling, Geoff licks the sweet sauce off his fingers and grins at CJ. "There's still time," he says.

I'll certainly be sure to drop by and use your services.

[She brings a chunk of rice to her mouth, shooting her tongue out to catch it before it falls. She sucks the sauce from the stick, then points at him with the]

Geoff, I want something special, do you think you can handle it?

Geoff laughs out loud, startling Logan-the-bunny and probably whatever students are sitting nearby.

"Anything for you, my lady. You have only to name it."

I want something so good, it will melt two hearts. [She pops an almond in her mouth]

"Two hearts, my lady? That's a heavy task indeed. It could be expensive."

He steals an almond off CJ's plate.

I'm willing to pay any price you demand.

[Steals a bite of chicken off his plate]

Geoff raises an eyebrow. "I'll need to know how soon you want it, of course. That could have a bearing on our arrangement as well."

I'm impatient, Geoff. I want it as fast as you can whip it out for me. But make sure it's ready when you give it to me...I also like quality.

Geoff laughs again, choking a little on the almond, and nods. "As you wish, my lady. Shall I send word when it's ready, or deliver it in person?"

Would you give it to me in person? I'd like that. Then I can thank you properly.

[She picks up a carrot between her chopsticks and places it delicately in her mouth.]

"It that's how you'd like it done, my lady." He winks and holds out a bit of garnish for the rabbit.

I'm very flexible, Geoff, but yes. That would work best for me. [Smiles and takes the garnish to feed to bunny!Logan.]

"Thank you, my lady. That's good to know." He scritches Logan's ears and grins at CJ. "Perhaps I should be going, then. Get to work."

Certainly, Geoff. I look forward to seeing it. Goodbye! [She smiles and strokes bunny!Logan]

Rory wanders over to Professor Cregg to check on Logan.

"How're you? Is Professor Cregg treating you nicely?"

He twitches his right ear, but looks vaguely indignant.

"I know," Rory says, reaching out to pet his head. "Have you been having a grand time together?" she asks CJ, smiling.

Oh Rory...he's a delight! We've sung Little Bunny FooFoo, he's had some snackie, and he's just been the [babytalks] sweetest widdle bunny wunny snoogyoogykums ever!

{normal voice] I know he's your boyfriend-turned-rabbit, Rory, but could I just hold him til the end of detention? He's so precious!

Rory glances down at Logan, who glares.

"Of course, Professor Cregg. And I'll have to reintroduce you two once he's normal again."

She leans down to Logan's level. "Be a good little bunny," she says, winking.

((Poor bunny!Logan. He's had to listen to little bunny foofoo at least twice, and she keeps babytalking to him and snuggling him agianst her breast. He's going to SO hate CJ when he is a real boy agian. LOL))
